FreeBird Fresh Chicken
Our natural organic and antibiotic-free chickens are raised on family farms in the rolling countryside of Pennsylvania's Amish Country, under our philosophy dedicated to freedoms.
FreeBird chickens are free to roam, and hunt and peck, in barns that are 33% more spacious that those used by traditional poultry growers. They're free to eat and drink on their schedules, not ours. And their vegetarian diet is completely and totally free of animal byproducts and extenders. In fact, FreeBird chickens dine on a proprietary recipe of pure corn and soybeans, with plenty of fresh well water.
FreeBird Chickens are also always antibiotic free. That means they have never ever been given antibiotics. And that's an important distinction. Because some poultry companies say their chickens are free of antibiotics, but all it means is that they have given them time to get the drugs out of their system. That's not antibiotic-free to us.
Of course, with freedom come responsibilities. So, in addition to our commitment to a humane and stress-free environment for our chickens, we also believe we have a responsibility to our environment, thus our commitment to sustainable farming and the long-term survival of family farms.
The FreeBird philosophy is not about taking the easiest, nor the cheapest, route. Roomy houses, pure corn and soybean diets, and antibiotic-free practices, are about doing things the right way--for the chickens, for the future, and for our customers.
What does this mean to you? Healthier and better tasting chicken. Because chickens raised on pure corn and soybeans--free of drugs--have better flavor. So you're free to serve and enjoy more a more natural and delicious chicken--guilt free. |
